Volvo Financial Services provide a full range of financial services to customers and dealers of the Volvo Group including Volvo, Mack, Renault and Nissan Diesel, as well as Volvo Construction Equipment, Volvo Buses, Volvo Aero and Volvo Penta. The purpose of VFS is to support Volvo Group with customer financing solutions at all stages of the business cycle. Recent business developments have given rise to recruit a new Regional Director based in the UK who will play a key strategic role in developing the business going forward.
The Regional Director will be responsible for leading the execution of the business development activities of Volvo Financial Services (VFS) Europe in line with agreed targets and budgets and within Volvo Group guidelines. This includes achieving business development targets through matrix organizations in the region and coordinating the strategic cooperation between Volvo Financial Services and Volvo Construction Equipment.
Reporting to the Vice President of VFS you will:
 Play a key strategic role within the business where you will be charged with developing key relationships with Volvo Construction Equipment in order to drive new business for VFS
 Be highly influential in working with your European colleagues to ensure that you are maximizing opportunities for the business by focusing on product and service development, developing marketing campaigns, monitoring ongoing account performance and development improvement plans
 Support the VP in the development of the strategic direction of VFS and be instrumental in delivering VFS Europe objectives in line with AB Volvo and Business Area strategies
 Proactively identify and drive initiatives to meet customer and business needs and requirements and manage relationships with customers on an ongoing basis
 Manage and coordinate internal and external sales communications and support the recruitment, development, training and retention of talented people for VFS
To be successful in this role you will demonstrate:
 Proven business development experience from the captive, vendor, finance or construction equipment industries and have a solid understanding of Volvo Financial targets, market approach and customer focus
 A strong international background having worked either internationally or by being involved in larger international projects where you have used best practice from others in order to enhance your own offering
 Strong leadership qualities and pervious man management experience where you have used your solid influencing and relationship skills in order to achieve your agenda
 Solid background in brand management and an understanding of financial services products and services
