Regional Manager - Kent

Do you consider yourself an experienced manager with the desire to drive a business? If so you have the opportunity to join one of the UK’s most well respected blue-chip retailers as an Area Manager. With hundreds of stores in the UK, this recruitment drive is due to their aggressive expansion plans & new store openings in 2009.

The duties and responsibilities associated with this role centres around an overall accountability for the performance of the stores in your region. This translates into P&L awareness, assessment and development of store practices in order to maximise sales potential, and a real focus on your colleagues and customers. The area comprises of between 20-25 stores and would be suited to a candidate located within the M25.

The ideal candidate should have area management or strong big box store management experience from any sector of retail. You will need extensive experience of managing a team and enjoy working to your own initiative and embrace innovation rather than just implementation of processes. You should be able to motivate, lead and inspire your team and also be aware of the need to advance your colleagues and set targets for individual performance and or achievement in order to make a strategic longer-term impact.
