A great opportunity for a property/estate/asset/portfolio manager has arisen to join the UK’s leading retailer to manage a wide and varied property portfolio with the aim of maximising income and minimising costs.

You will be responsible for:
- Managing all types of property interests within a defined geographical region.
- Includes freehold and leasehold stores plus development sites and investment property
- Identify opportunities to maximise income and minimise costs across the whole portfolio
- Liaise with external consultants i.e. solicitors, managing agents, highway planners
- Knowledge of rent review and lease renewal process and lettings of vacant space
- Manage lease assignments, licence for alterations, dilapidations
- Set budgets and have sound understanding of P&L accounts
- Liaise with finance dept including credit control, accounts payable
- Liaise with acquisitions dept on new store developments and extensions
- Approve rents/service charge/insurance demands, payment plans
- Responsibility to ensure property database is accurate
- Provide a property service to the business to include gaining LL and other 3rd party consents and give ad hoc advice when necessary
- Prepare board papers for relevant approvals

You will be a good communicator both written and verbal, with the ability to prioritise and work on your own initiative. You will have RICS accreditation or equivalent with demonstrable years PQE.
