Relationship Manager/Business Analyst

My client, a leading bank in the city, is currently looking for a relationship manager/business analyst, with experience in Client Relationships with large corporations, business analysis and regulatory reporting.

Role description:
* Responsible for conducting individual pieces of analysis required to feed overall workstream
* Works with legal team to understand legal requirements
* Develop detailed business requirements required for functional
* Works with Operations/ Technology and other functions to develop actions plans for process or systems change

Experience:
Client facing experience to ensure they understand the client reaction to regulatory changes and how this should be managed by the bank on behalf of the client. This could possibly be gained from prior exposure to front office sales, corporate relationship management or a business management role.
Understanding of OTC products and a broad understanding of the life cycle of sales to corporate clients with regards to the front office.
Experience of working within a project; they must understand project methodology and the correct way to implement business requirements. Minimum of 2 years experience within a project environment.
Ability to interface with all workstreams of the project and the Front Office at the bank. Interaction/outreach directly with the banks clients may also be required.
Exceptional PowerPoint skills.
Experience within a regulatory change environment would be beneficial, but not essential.

* Detailed knowledge of relevant business areas
* Analytical and structuring capabilities
* Understanding of how to interpret regulatory text and translate to business requirements
* Implementation planning experience (working with IT and ops)
* Good working knowledge of the Microsoft office suite, i.e. Excel, Word and PowerPoint

Experience
* Over 3 years in Finance and Banking analysis roles
* Over 2 years in credit and rates derivatives
* Over 1 year in regulatory roles
* Must have worked in business transformation programmes
* May have worked in technology projects related to the above
