Renewable Energy Strategy Consulting Manager
London - London
Exceptional opportunity in renewable energy consulting with a big 4 firm. As part of their energy strategy team, the role will be focussed on the renewable energy sector, with a client base that includes central and local government, utilities, large corporations, private equity and specialist renewable investors. Projects would include advising on project feasibility, market entry strategies, lead financial advisory and commercial due diligence. Generally projects are split fairly evenly between deals related, major project advisory and strategic advisory.
As a Manager, the role will involve undertaking and delivery of projects, taking responsibility for specific parts of a project according to expertise, and will include financial modelling, economic analysis, market assessment, business planning, supporting transactions and financial analysis. The role will also involve supporting senior staff in the development of new business in the sector, including preparation of proposals and pitches, attendance at presentations and identifying opportunities for sell-on of existing work.

• Deep understanding of the value chains for a range of renewable technologies
• Commercial background gained through working on economic or investment analysis, planning, M&A, strategy or business development
• Experience gained in either a large corporate organisation or consultancy firm
• Understanding of regulatory environment impacting the renewable energy sector in the UK
• Willingness to travel - the work is primarily located in the UK, although there are occasional international jobs
