A unique and niche opportunity for a Head of Ad hoc Market Research or Research Director to join a full service market research agency specialised in the niche area of animal and agricultural health. A background in this industry and area of not required but an expert in ad-hoc research and client management and delivery will be key!
About the Client
An opportunity with a market research agency who are presently beating all targets and set for growth this year. Their focus is animal and agricultural health and their offering is full service qualitative and quantitative research and insight delivery. There work is international and their network and reputation is growing impressively. Studies and project work are extremely varied in nature and will be ad-hoc in nature, qualitative and quantitative, B2C and B2B and include market development and brand development and product and concept testing.
About the Role
The opportunity to appoint a Head of Market research or Research Director has arisen due to the continued growth of their business and the need to ensure effective account management and client development. The position responsibilities will include:
· Regular client contact and building a thorough understanding of client business challenges.
· Identify commercial opportunities to pitch for business
· Write innovative and consultative proposals
· Support and develop your account team
· Support and develop the research processes, including the development of innovative techniques and project management.
What We’re Looking For
Although the company works within a very niche area a background working on projects in this area will not be essential. More important will be the ad hoc qualitative and quantitative experience and the ability to identify business challenges and apply research to provide insights. A people manager with strong client development experience will also be skills within your repertoire.
About the Offer
Up to £90,000 + bonus
