Retail & Consumer Business Manager - IT Desktop HW

One of the largest IT Companies on the planet requires a Retail Sales and Consumer Business Manager. The purpose of this role is to lead and drive the Personal Systems Group (PSG) consumer business (revenue and margin) for UK&I and to coordinate the end-to-end activity for the group whilst working closely with the PSG category and marketing teams. To ensure consistent delivery the successful candidate will be required to work alignment with the Imaging and Printing Group (IPG) also. This is a dual faceted role where you are a Sales Manager with direct responsibility for 5 Retail Account Managers driving revenue, profit and market share. Coupled with the task of being a Consumer Business Manager looking at the overall view of the market and how to attack it, improving the overall offering to market by working along side the marketing team and the category team. 90% of the current business is driven through retail partners such as Comet and Dixon's and 10% via Government initiatives and Telco operators. This is a multi-multi million dollar business and a exciting opportunity for some one with extensive Retail Market knowledge, sales and business skills. It is essential that you can demonstrate a full understanding of this market place and have a track record of success that is backed up by a demonstrable ability to maintain and grow a major business unit. The successful candidate will have a stable career history having worked for a competitive Vendor or major Distributor or Systems Integrator.
