My Client FMCG FTSE 100 Organisation.
The Role
Provide day-to-day collaborative analytical support to the Sales account teams to enable them to build and iterate their account net revenue plans so that they meet financial targets and maximise return on investments
Own the construction of the latest account net revenue forecast each month, with particular responsibility for forecasting the performance of retail promotions and new products
Proactively highlight future performance concerns and opportunities to account teams and to Sales and Finance leadership teams, and take an active role in planning commercial activities required to remediate any gaps to target
Steward the process for ensuring all prospective account promotional investments are evaluated and approved appropriately within the business
Own the reporting and explanation of account revenue performance to the Sales team
Manage the integrity of the financial data reported for the account each month, and supervise effective administration of the account investment budgets, in line with financial control standards
What we are looking for
Strong analytical capability
Strong interpersonal skills, particularly collaborative working and influencing
Strong commercial acumen, ideally gained through FMCG experience
Good Excel skills and general systems ability
Good time management and prioritisation skills
People management capabilities, and ideally experience
Accounting qualification essential (CIMA / ACA or equivalent)
