Risk and Capital Finance Business Partner

Our client is a modern and highly successful retail bank, well positioned for future growth.
We are currently recruiting for a one year fixed term contract to cover a maternity leave.
This important and highly visible role will provide finance business partner support for Impairment, Capital & Financial Losses. The successful candidate will act as a focal point for communication between Business Performance, Finance Business Partners, Retail Credit Risk, SBU’s, Treasury, Finance, Group Finance with regards to impairment & capital forecasting & reporting, ensuring that the bank remains compliant with Capital policies. Additionally, the incumbent will manage a small team of 2.
To be considered for this role, candidates will need to demonstrate a good understanding of banking products allied with understanding of Impairment, Regulatory Capital (RWAs, BASEL II) and Economic Capital. You will also have experience of management accounting and financial analysis, including variance analysis, trend analysis. Strong stakeholder management skills will be prerequisite.
