<B>My client</B>
Have been established for over 14 years specialising in delivering multi-channel IT solutions to blue chip retailers with a customer base that includes Tesco. They allow multi-channel retailers to transform their communication with customers through each and every channel by managing the product information across the entire information supply chain.
They are currently looking to appoint a VP of Sales to develop a successful team providing leadership, motivation and effective coaching/mentoring and creating cross functional support to the sales activities
<B>Key responsibilities are:</B>
In conjunction with the CEO set annual sales targets and budgets
Gain strong understanding of group product proposals
Work with CEO and Marketing team to ensure effective marketing materials and adequate support to the sales process
Ensure revenue growth in all services in line with the business plan
Define the model by which sales can leverage through effective partnering
Develop and implement an effective sales process
Work with Professional Services and Engineering to ensure appropriate pre sales support resource is effective.
<B>Essential skills & experience required: </B>
A proven track record of business development to the Retail Sector
Enterprise software solutions background
Experience in Document/Content/Knowledge Management & e-business platform or related technology
Proven ability to manage and motivate a sales force
<B>Preferred experience/skills required: </B>
Consultancy and Business Solutions sales background
Retailer, Distribution, CPG or Manufacturing sector exposure
