This is a marvellous opportunity to join one of the global market leaders in e-mail marketing software. They need a Sales Director for EMEA based from their London offices.

This company are a leading and award winning provider of e-mail marketing solutions. They have a sophisticated and powerful solution that stands above competition in ensuring the best possible return on investment for clients. The email software they produce allows the client to increase marketing efficiency by tracking and scoring leads, integrating with existing CRM business systems and making a multi channel marketing approach very straightforward. This greatly improves marketing efforts, including email campaigns, services, and analytics.

Due to some internal changes, there is now an opportunity for a Sales Director to join the team. You will be looking after a team of four external sales people, expected to double this year, and will be heavily involved in helping them deliver their numbers.

This will require a hands on approach and the ability to coach and mentor, as well as assist at client meetings. You will be able to funnel pipeline and forecast accurately in order to ensure targets are met.

The position requires someone who takes an approach that involves working with the team rather than standing off.

The ideal candidate will have knowledge of e-mail marketing and a successful track record in a similar role for 3-5 years. Other backgrounds that may be suitable include CRM, E-Commerce, Saas, and the like.

The average order value is around 30-40k and there is a high volume of deals to work on at any given time. Therefore, this will suit someone who is used to selling product against competition rather than someone selling services. You will need to be directly focused on helping the team sell the benefits of the client products, and will have a very strong technical understanding of the intricacies of the various offerings.
