Sales Director
My client, recently acquired by a Private Equity group and a leading retail supplier/wholesaler of seasonal impulse gifting items, is looking for an ambitious Sales Director to head up the UK sales team.
You will be required to lead a team of dedicated and experienced Senior National Account Managers and will own the sales and new business strategy going forward.
You will also be responsible for:
* Spearheading the development and definition of the sales strategy to Retail & Grocery clients
* The ownership of the Business Plan and P&L
* The reporting of all activities to a very demanding Private Equity group
* Implementing an ambitious growth plan in line with board expectations
To be successful in this role, you will be an experienced Commercial Sales Leader, from a Non-food, gifting or FMCG background, have a keen eye for developing sales strategy within Retail and Grocery sectors, and be a natural influencer and leader.
You will also be:
* Educated to a high level
* An entrepreneurial self-starter
* Highly numerate and incredibly disciplined
* Passionate and dedicated in order to deliver on stretch targets
* A driven and natural business leader
In return for your hard work and tireless dedication, you will be rewarded with a basic salary of between £80-£120k, dependent on experience, and a very lucrative benefits package and bonus scheme. There is also the possibility of equity share upon Private Equity exit, but this will depend on results.
