This is an excellent opportunity for an ambitious and experienced Recruitment Professional to join the senior management team of a leading Engineering recruitment company.

JOB TITLE: Sales Director
PACKAGE: £65K basic (OTE - £100K+)
Excellent Commission, Fully Expensed Car plus Benefits
LOCATION: Lancashire, Cheshire, North West

THE ROLE

Reporting to the Managing Director, the Sales Director will be responsible for the commercial and operational management of a network of Branch offices. The role will be accountable for delivering to agreed budgets for sales and profitable growth within the branch locations. The Sales Director will be responsible for increasing turnover and profitability within the branches through proactive management of the sales function through a team of Regional Directors. Responsible for the achievement of Branch budgeted sales, margin and net profit.

The Sales Director will deputise for the Managing Director in their absence as directed, and be responsible for the management of a team of Regional Directors. The Sales Director will form part of the company’s Senior Management team and will attend monthly management meetings.

The key responsibilities of this role will focus on business development and employee and team development.

KEY EXPERIENCE REQUIRED

The ideal candidate will be an experienced professional with significant experience in the following areas;
• Senior Management experience gained within an Engineering recruitment environment (Markets of interest include: Utilities, Transport, Rail, Nuclear, Petro-Chemical, Oil & Gas, Infra-structure, Aerospace, Power or Manufacturing)
• Demonstrable track record of successful personal selling to both large and small accounts, and the ability to identify and win new business on either a national or regional basis
• Be an experienced manager of people, capable of motivating large sales teams and providing clear and focused leadership
• The ability to make complex proposals, deliver major presentations and conduct business at a senior level
• Hold sound commercial and business awareness with the ability to identify with the business needs of an organisation
• Outstanding interpersonal and communication skills, both verbal and written.
