Sales Executive - Pre IPO - Business Intelligence

Our Client was formed in 1997 by a team of IT professionals at Royal Dutch Shell who were challenged to deliver a new way of transforming data into information. In 2003, the company was taken private with investments from Atlas Venture and Benchmark Capital. The company is now undergoing a renaissance, with a new sales culture, product portfolio and World wide management team and they are ensuring the foundations are in place with a very strong Technical and Pre Sales team. To further enhance this progression, our client is now seeking best of breed sales individuals who can grasp this opportunity and be part of a growing concern - who not only remunerates well but will give you stock to mature when business IPO's or is acquired. The target is a mere $1m (2 deals a year) and there is already a extensive Client base so the role will encompass a mixture of new business and named account management. It is essential that you can demonstrate a track record of over achievement with a BI vendor or in the Data warehousing arena and the ability to be self supportive whilst a team contributor. In particular we are looking for someone to sell into Financial services as well as candidates with a more generalised commercial client base.
