Sales Manager

One of the worlds leading players in the UK and Irish Renewable Energy markets now require a Sales Manager based in the North West of England. This is a permanent position reporting to the UK Head of Sales.

You will be accountable for providing a significant contribution to the UK Sales Department in achieving its ambitious targets for sales, revenues and market share growth over the coming years. You will work closely with the interdisciplinary UK team to contribute to the development of the necessary plans and strategies and will lead and coordinate the negotiations with clients. You will be responsible for developing new client relationships through pre-tender discussions, site visits and technical support and will have close liaison with the UK Project Management and Service Teams.

Ideally you will be of graduate calibre with knowledge of engineering or similar technical disciplines with additional skills in economics. You will have excellent communication and organisational skills and have the ability to take the initiative to develop and relate ideas amongst others. Prior experience within the Renewable Energy sector would provide a distinct advantage, as would a background in sales or business development. Applicants must have a full UK driving license.
