The company is a well established and successful international supplier of software solutions in a niche market sector. Significant growth plans have led to the requirement of an experienced Sales Manager reporting directly to the Business Development Director.
This is a new position and you will be responsible for the development and performance of all sales activities (both new business and account management) in the UK & Ireland. This position is responsible for managing and mentoring the sales team in order to maximise revenue, profitability and growth in line with company targets, vision and values.
The Sales Manager will establish strategies to expand the client base, achieve personal sales and team sales revenue targets through new business and account management, maintain a detailed knowledge of the market, recruit and train sales staff, liaise closely with the Marketing Manager in the development and implementation of the marketing plan and the Support Centre Manager for the timely resolution of outstanding client issues.
You must have a proven sales track record, strong leadership and motivational qualities, ability to delegate authority and responsibility with accountability for follow-up. In addition you must be well organised, have good time management skills with sound commercial judgement and excellent written and verbal communication and/ presentation skills.
Any experience of facilities management, CAFM, property, real estate or physical asset management would be of particular benefit but is not essential providing you have significant experience of complex software solutions sales.
This is an excellent company with high quality products. Salary is envisaged to be up to £50k basic plus car allowance and an on target commission of £50k representing an overall package of up to £105k plus benefits. The position is office based in south west London and candidates must be able to travel occasionally throughout the UK.
