Overview of the job.
They are currently looking for a software management sales professional with experience in managing a growing sales team. The successful candidate will be responsible for the management of an Inside Sales team in Germany. You will be responsible for the development of new business within the German and Swiss markets for the their Desktop application offerings.

Sales Manager/Business Manager –
This position will require the use of direct selling skills within the Software Applications markets as well as day-to-day management and development of the existing sales team, consisting of Inside/Telesales executives. You will be responsible for achieving sales targets. You will be a self starter, highly organised and motivated individual. You must understand the sales life cycle within IT and have a successful track record of exceeding sales quotas. You will be an excellent communicator and influencer, able to guide the sales team to meet their targets.

You must prove that you can manage accounts through your sales team and direct them with the right advice. You must have experience to identifying and qualifying new prospects, and/or maintain existing customer relationships, as well as being responsible for some key accounts, you must be able to oversee and provide detailed information on all accounts within your region.

You will be comfortable in being able to provide technical product information and coordinate demonstrations, provide quotations and support other members of the Technologies Division.

Requirements
3+ years of sales team management is a must and direct sales experience preferred.
Technical background and/or customer service background required.
Experience in translation/localization industry preferred, but not required. Native fluency in written and verbal German. Proficient command of English necessary.
