Being the leading multinational manufacturer of their products, my client has been established for over 40 years now. They cater for a diverse range of applications in construction, agricultural, glazing, advertising, DIY and fabrication markets.
Being a member of the UK based, Senior Management team, responsibilities include; maintaining the Sales and Marketing Strategy, Preparation of the Sales and Marketing budget, Maintaining good relationships with customers and suppliers, being responsible for Sales, on and off site customer visits, managing the European and UK team, performance management of staff, managing Sales and Marketing activities i.e. sales, production priorities, logistics, timely payments, complaints and credit notes. Flexibility for frequent travel is also essential for this role.
Reporting into this position will be the UK and European Management team, Administration Assistant and a Personal Assistant. As an experienced Sales and Marketing Manager, it is essential that you possess considerable management experience in a manufacturing/engineering environment and knowledge and experience of plastic sheet distribution. You will be educated to degree standard or equivalent, highly IT literate and possess strong team building and man management skills.
