SAP BW Consultant

My client is seeking a highly experienced consultant to lead the implementation of the SAP BW Retail Best practices particularly in areas such as Merchandise and Assortment Planning, POS DM and any other SAP Retail Industry Specifics. YOU MUST HAVE RETAIL EXPERIENCE TO BE CONSIDERED.
We are looking for someone with strong a BW background gained through over at least five years of experience in BW working for retail organizations. The relevant experience will focus on the requirements gathering, model definition, SAP ECC and external source data capture, Standard SAP ECC extraction process implementation, PSA, ODS and Cubes modelling through to implementation. Knowledge of the SAP BW Retail Business Content as well as the SAP Best Practices in implementing Merchandise and Assortment Planning and POS DM is appreciated. Other responsibilities will include hands-on involvement in the design and implementation of the new solutions.
Technical experience will include basic ABAP skills. Knowledge of SAP Business Objects, BIA and BW performance, as well as Data quality management are highly appreciated – but not a necessary requirement. Experience in BEX is not required, as the selected user front-end reporting tool will be SAP BO, or other best-of-breed products. Knowledge of SAP ECC will be highly valued, especially in Retail, Sales and Distribution – but not a necessary requirement.
Non technical experience, ideally educated to Bachelor degree level and have over three years of experience within a major consulting company, as well as three years of full cycle BW implementations ideally in companies in excess of £1,000M revenue.
