SAP Data Migration Consultant
Essex - East Anglia
Leading International Corporation seeks a SAP Data Migration Consultant to work with business on data migration strategies from legacy ERP and other sources to new ERP & MES systems and then plan/design/manage/execute the testing/migration from inception to completion. You will work with business subject matter experts to assess "as is" processes and "to be " processes and help implement best practices work with the business on data quality/cleansing strategies for legacy ERP and other sources and then plan/design/manage/execute the data quality/cleansing from inception to completion.
Skills and experience required:
•Worked on multiple successful legacy to SAP data migration projects
•Experience of working with client’s functional subject matter experts and IT developers in writing both functional and technical specification documents
•Mapped legacy ERP data (entities, attributes etc) to SAP target fields in line with data conversion documentation
•Knowledge and experience of data quality and data cleansing concepts/techniques
•Worked with SQL Server 2000 Data Transformation Services, Transact SQL and Visual Basic/VBScript development languages
Desirable:
•Will have done business systems analysis on legacy systems and other Non ERP data sources
•Will have worked with the SAP XI interface module
•Will have developed in Oracle PL/SQL
•Will have an understanding of Unix scripting languages
