SAP Testing Specialist
A leading Global IT Infrastructure System Integrator requires a SAP Testing Specialist to join their Global Applications Team to work on a large retail customer of theirs based in Southampton.
SAP Testing Specialist Job Description and experience required as follows:
- Participate as a member of a Testing Team.
- Lead small testing teams.
- Utilise Organisation's testing methodology, apply specialisation to develop a Test Plan for a test level to be executed for a project, as specified in the Testing Strategy for the project.
- Coordinate and collaborate with others in analysing collected requirements to ensure the Test Plan and identified testing solutions meet customer needs and expectations.
- Assist in the preparation of estimates for the performance of the various activities defined in the Test Plan.
- Design complex testing scenarios and test cases that will demonstrate conformance to all functional and non-functional requirements, relative to the test level, as defined in business or technical specifications.
- Review and analyse test results to confirm, establish, and communicate the cause of the discrepancy.
- Identify inadequacies and improvement opportunities in the methods/standards and recommends changes.
- Stay current on established tools, techniques, and technologies.
- Lead reviews of validity and correctness of testing deliverables and services.
- Familiarity with Agile Methodology an advantage
- Knowledge of the Rational Toolset (Rational Quality Manager, Rational Team Concert) an advantage
- ISTQB/ISEB Foundation an advantage
- BPSS or above clearance required
- Experience of testing interfaces with legacy systems an advantage
- Organisation's Quality Centre or equivalent
