Leading Aerospace organisation require an experienced Senior Engineering Manager to join their expanding team in Hertfordshire.
The Senior Engineering Manager (systems) will be the satellite design authority, responsible for Validation of the suitability of satellite designs, supporting definition and 'maintenance' of Satellite Product Policy, facilitating exchange of best practices between system engineering managers, contributing to phase/peer project reviews and carrying out specific expertise on call from department management.
The successful candidate will be qualified with an engineering degree or relevant qualification with extensive work experience and have a system understanding of key drivers for satellite designs, skills in the use of risk evaluation and design review methodology, strong experience as a System Engineering Manager, project based engineering experience in functional, electrical or mechanical disciplines, experience in design reviews and red team / tiger team reviews and have worked in international teams, ideally with an awareness / understanding of ESA rules and working modes.
