Search Monetisation

Our client are currently looking for a Manager, Search Monetisation to join our Network Yield Management team. As a highly analytical and driven individual, this person will drive yield improvement within the European paid search marketplace. Collaborating with product management and finance teams, this person will monitor overall marketplace strengths and weaknesses, profile advertiser yield effectiveness, identify improvement areas, and link analyses and findings to product innovation and requirements. By assessing yield impact of monetisation initiatives, this person will highlight future revenue growth opportunities.

Candidates for this role must be a team player, who is results-oriented with high attention to detail and good business judgment. Strong analytical and problem-solving skills are required, combined with solid verbal and written communication skills necessary for working with business teams dispersed around the globe. They must be comfortable managing cross-functional teams and making decisive and difficult decisions. They must be able to understand product fundamentals in order to drive revenue optimisation.

This Manager must be able to collaborate with a team as well as drive independent analyses and projects. Candidates must be comfortable on a very fast-paced team in a rapidly evolving industry. We are looking for an energetic self-starter and true collaborator with a genuine curiously for how to use data constructively to drive the business forward. He or She should expect to be deeply engaged with the details behind the business. This role is a mix of hands-on analysis, cross-functional project management, and operations especially related to product testing and deployment, It will allow for significant exposure to upper management. The leading candidate will be a logical thinker and solid communicator, a rising star looking to join a strong, highly-visible team.

Qualifications:
• 5+ years of previous analyst experience including financial analysis, management consulting, marketing research, and/or data mining. Previous experience in Internet or other high-tech industry desired.
• Strong analytical, problem solving, and business impact assessment skills.
• Attention to detail with the ability to see the big picture and frame opportunities.
• Effective communicator and cross-functional consensus builder.
• Self-starter with the desire to work in a challenging, fast-paced, and unstructured environment
• Proficiency with Excel (Access a plus). Proficiency with Powerpoint.
• Good communication and interpersonal skills. Adept at explaining and presenting findings from analyses.
• Ability to work collaboratively in a cross-functional team environment.
• High interest in Internet technologies and business.
• Bachelors degree required. Masters degree beneficial. Academic focus in Economics and / or Maths beneficial.
