Fantastic Opportunity to secure a long term contract in Bristol My client requires a Security Consultant / Security Analystto provide a Security Audit. CLAS accreditation would be useful but is not essential.
You will contribute to the delivery of contractually agreed security tasks and deliverables to the client. This will include assisting the client effort of analysing sub-contractor supplied Risk Assessments; monitoring compliance of Client Codes of Connection; and the maintenance of the principles of Information Assurance (IA) in respect of current client programmes of work. The job role requires that the individual takes ownership of, and delivers assigned tasking as part of the Company Transport & Security Client team, working with peers and senior colleagues, both within Client and IRM teams, and the HA directly. This post has no direct staff management responsibilities. The post holder must be prepared to work alone thinking for themselves, and be prepared to take on a range of overlapping tasks so that deliverables can be achieved. Successful candidates will work within a strong IA team ethic. The team deliver directly to the client and are responsible for the provision of advice on all aspects of the application of ISO/IEC 27001 and industry good practice for Information Security. This is supplemented using the Manual of Protective Security in-turn supported by CESG manuals, memoranda and good practice guidance therefore, a good understanding of UK IA policy and proven track record of implementation is essential.First class written and oral presentation material for the client is essential. Good understanding of Risk Assessment methodologies and application of Codes of Connection within IA context. .
