Fantastic Opportunity to secure a long term contract. My client requires a senior security consultant for their financial services client. Essentially we need someone who; Is experienced in a wide range of network technologies: e.g. Cisco, Juniper, F5 etc., Architecture design/review etc. The longer the candidate has been involved in this area will be useful for him / her to call upon this experience to deal with all sorts of issues; A sound background in IT security; A customer facing sort of guy or girl who is able to communicate at all levels; Willing and able to travel within the UK and the world; May be preferable to be based in London (TBC); Experience of conducting technical risk assessments in a financial services environment. An overview of what they will be expected to do is as follows: The scope of the work performed by the Consultancy resources will include but is not limited to the following activities: Technical Vulnerability Assessments – workshops & reports. IT Security Design - review & creation. Key Design Directives – creation and maintenance. Due Diligence - reviews & reports. Product/Platform Evaluations. IT Security Policies & Standards - review & creation. Testing – advising on scope and output of penetration testing.
Creation, maintenance and advice with regard to security operating models. IT Security Strategy – creation and maintenance. Project support via – IT Security Project managers, Business analysts.
