The role
60% existing accounts, 40% new business This role is to focus mainly on North Africa, Turkey and the Portugal customer business, targeting the E&P, Refining, Chemical industry but not excluding other accounts where opportunities exist. First year target of 2,5 million EUR
They are now seeking an experienced Sales Account Manager to be responsible for managing and growing the Chemicals / Pharmaceuticals / Food & Beverage industries. (Oil sector could be included)
Responsibilities
The candidate will be responsible for opening, qualifying and closing sales opportunities mainly with large customers.
The successful candidate will develop a sales pipeline to support future sales and business planning. Additionally the candidate will manage the day to day sales process in the nominated accounts and provide sales management with timely account updates, sales forecasts and lead the account planning activities with other worldwide team members.
The candidate will establish global account team leadership processes (should include management of core team).
As a member of the sales management team, the candidate will assess present and potential marketplace changes; contribute to overall global account business planning and continued penetration of account, to deliver corporate objectives with respect to global account.
Qualifications
• We require an experienced sales professional with a proven track record of selling Enterprise Solutions (ERP SCM) and Professional Services at senior and executive level within an international environment.
• Experience selling to the Energy, Oil, Chemicals, Pharmaceuticals, Food & Beverage industries (Process Manufacturing) with a well established sales network.
• Specific Knowledge of Manufacturing Execution System [MES] and Plant Planning & Scheduling is desirable.
