Our client is one of the leading banking groups operating across Central and Eastern Europe and as a result of continued expansion are presently looking to strengthen their investor relations team with the appointment of a Senior Analyst reporting directly in to the Head of Investor Relations
Job Summary
The Senior Investor Relations Analyst is a main point of contact for sell-side investment analysts (debt and equity) and is responsible for increasing the company’s investor visibility and communicating its strategy, objectives and performance to the financial community, in particular by presenting a highly credible and coherent overview of the company to sell-side investment analysts, buy-side institutional investors and hedge funds.
Tasks and Responsibilities
Management of sell-side and buy-side investment analyst (debt and equity) requests and analysis of research reports
Processing of enquiries from the financial community, specifically on issues relating to balance sheet and income statement, with the aim of increasing and maintaining research coverage by investment banks and research boutiques
Preparation of PowerPoint presentations for the financial community
Maintain contact with and service of rating agencies
Formulation of corporate presentations and internal briefings
Maintenance of the buy-side institutional investor base (debt and equity)
Preparation of Q&A
Analyze external market information and report relevant findings and statistics
Involvement in the preparation of all financial reports including a double check for information from the accounting department
Daily knowledge of market movements using Bloomberg, Reuters
Participation in confidential ad hoc projects such as communication of acquisitions/disposals and equity capital raising
 
Key Skills
• Master’s degree in business administration, accounting or finance
• Advanced finance degree (MBA, CFA, CIIA or equivalent)
• Minimum of 5 years or more as an equity research analyst or professional experience in investor relations, management accounting, controlling
• English native speaker (and basic German)
• Excellent verbal and written communication/presentation skills
• Knowledge of IFRS and strong financial background
• CEE experience desirable
• Knowledge and previous experience in the banking sector desirable
• Teamworker, ability to work under time pressure in a reliable and accurate manner
• Absolute integrity and a high degree of service orientation
