Senior Buyer - Footwear

This well known high street footwear retailer has an exciting opportunity for a footwear buyer to join their team. You will ideally have similar product experience, from a blue chip background with an ability to work effectively under pressure. You will develop and maintain a clear understanding of the market, supplier base, customer profile and you will also regularly monitor their key competitors. You will be responsible for range creation and planning, quality control, supplier negotiations, managing the OTB as well as motivating and leading a team. You will also have excellent communication skills, be financially astute and knowledgeable on current market trends in order to develop a customer focused & exciting new range.
