Our client is a specialist designer retailer currently looking to appoint a Senior Buyer with focus on menswear and accessories, the business now consists of approx 250 shops in over 24 countries.
This is a great fashion buying opportunity for a Senior Buyer ideally with menswear and accessories experience with a real flair for fashion & trends and a track record of successful range development and KPI delivery.
Your key task will be to develop commercial & profitable fashion/accessory ranges which meet the needs & aspirations of the customer, improving quality, design & value, and increasing direct sourcing activity, in order to grow market share successfully in a hugely competitive marketplace.
This will require skills in:
the analysis of trends, demographics & sales data
range development & planning
briefing & working closely with suppliers & factories
identifying & introducing new & innovative products
effective management of the critical path
maximising sales, and optimising profit
You'll have a great eye for product and a passion & enthusiasm for your business, alongside excellent negotiation and range management skills.
