Senior Buyer

Due to expansion, this leading food business are looking for a Senior Buyer to join their successful purchasing team. Central London up to £60k.

The successful candidate will manage the organisation and delivery of a high quality purchasing support across several lines of business in a multi site, service focused environment.

With food sourcing experience, your key responsibilities will be, amongst others:

- Deliver financials targets set by the business through effective negotiation.
- Manage food inflation to minimise impact on the business.
- Source new and innovative products meeting the needs of different business areas.
- Aim to reduce SKU numbers where appropriate.
- Maintain and develop key strategic supplier relationships.
- Ensure the supply base is managed to deliver best service to the business.
- Build strong, beneficial and positive working relationships with key internal stakeholders.

To be the successful candidate, you will have strong and proven experience in food, with success in both hands on sourcing and strategic development. You must have a proven track record in initiated and supporting change, as well as strong leadership and man management skills. Evidently, high level negotiation and numeracy skills are required.
