Senior Commercial Analyst
London - Home Based
A Senior Commercial Analyst is required for an instantly recognisable media brand based in Central London. This is a high-profile, newly created role, providing a key interface between Finance and the broader business - key stakeholders will include the Sales, Marketing and Advertising teams. In this highly analytical and data-oriented role, responsibilities will include:
* Providing insightful and robust commercial analysis to support the Sales, Marketing and Operational teams in key decision making to drive increased revenue and EBITDA
* Analysing new and existing business initiatives, challenging assumptions and highlighting any risks and opportunities to improve business performance
* Driving strategic direction and developing the mid to long term financial plans businesses
* Assessing current commercial tools and managing the implementation of new commercial processes in line with key business strategies
The successful candidate will be a 'hands on' qualified accountant with a broad business awareness and strong commercial understanding. You will have proven business partnering experience with a demonstrable track record of delivering value add analysis that has been used to support commercial decision-making and deliver improvements. You will have advanced Excel skills and will be comfortable building and developing complex financial models, identifying trends and extrapolating data.
You will be a confident and pro-active self-starter, comfortable contributing to high-level strategic discussion whilst being able to 'roll up your sleeves' and get into the detail. This role requires flexible thinking and a dynamic, innovative approach. You will have the ability to interact with and develop working relationships internally and externally, with a forward looking and challenging mindset.
