Senior Consultant, Health Economics

A Senior Consultant in Health Economics and Outcomes Research is wanted to join a successful consultancy with offices globally. This vacancy can be based in one of their East Coast offices in either Philadelphia or New York City.

With an established name in health economics and outcomes research, this company offers a broad range of consultancy services to the pharmaceutical and medical device industries. They are present in over 40 countries, yet have a small friendly and focused approach, provide lots of face to face contact between international colleagues and clients, and maintain a culture which is energetic, caring and close-knit.

The Senior Consultant in Health Economics & Outcomes Research (HEOR) is going to be a important hire in creating a HEOR function in the US.

The Job
As a Senior Consultant in Health Economics and Outcomes Research (HEOR), you will be involved in:
*Working throughout the consultancy lifecycle with top global pharmaceutical clients to conduct evaluations and inform the strategy for products entering the marketplace. You will work with healthcare companies to develop value dossiers and reimbursement submissions.
*Carrying out early stage modelling, provide analysis and data for projects
*Working closely with the global director of Health Economics and Outcomes Research to develop the US-based team.

You
This is an urgent role, but we, as a recruitment consultancy are working closely with our client to find the right individual for it. The experience we're looking for is:
*Health Economics and Outcomes Research within the US pharmaceutical market, from a consultancy perspectives
*Extensive experience from a good strategy or market access consulting firm in pharmaceuticals, biotech, life sciences, healthcare areas.
*Ability to create budget impact and cost effectiveness models
*A strong understanding of the US pharmaceutical, biotechnology and device reimbursement system
*Advanced experience of statistics packages such as STATA, SPSS, or SAS
*Great interpersonal skills, strong written and verbal communication
*Project management skills
*A can-do attitude with flexibility to take on new tasks and alter your role as the company grows and develops
