Senior Engineering Manager

A Senior Engineering Manager is required for the industry leader in development and manufacture of unmanned ground vehicle systems for police, military, and industrial applications in more than 52 countries worldwide.

As the Senior Engineering Manager you will lead the development and implementation of the Company Technology Roadmap as well as:

1.Build the engineering skills base to provide the resource required to meet the company's short and long term product design objectives
2.Define and implement departmental objectives and performance measures
3.Define, document and implement design engineering procedures compliant with ISO9001
4.Allocate Design Engineering resources to Programme Managers as required for programme engineering. Manage priorities and raise unresolved conflicts with the Managing Director.
5.Recruit and select new staff as required by approved departmental budgets

6.Take an active role in the development and promotion of company processes and procedures that improve inter-departmental performance and efficiency.

The Senior Engineering Manager will need to have broad unmanned systems engineering knowledge of hardware and software applicable to unmanned vehicle design coupled with strong analytical ability. You will also need to have in depth experience in active design engineering background in hardware/software with progression through supervisory/management positions and can demonstrate experience in system integration within the defence market.
