Bid Manager - Senior Estimator - London £60 - £70K + Benefits

Our Client is a family owned and directed Construction Company with a strong, ‘hands-on' approach to the management of its operations. It has enjoyed three decades of steady growth concentrating on the supply of construction, refurbishment and regeneration services to the Public Sector and key commercial clients. In addition to its core construction business opur client also provides many construction specialities including partnering, design and construct and complex mechanical and electrical services installations.

Due to continued success in the South East they are now looking to recruit a Bid Manager/Senior Estimator to work out of their head office in London.

Experience

Experienced in estimating
Good knowledge of Local Authority/Housing Association procurement methods
Must have a good understanding of the partnering process, design/build and traditional contracting process traditional contracting process
Proficient in public Presentation & Submission Methods
A highly motivated individual and Term team player


You will be required:
To assist in the co-ordination of submission & proposal development
To carry out analytical pricing of in-house produced Bills of Quantities using ConQuest Estimating System
To work closely with Design & Build Manager in the development of bids where required
To research and investigate new Government or industry initiatives
To keep updated of technical developments and innovative trends in the industry
To assist, as directed in the training and development of team members
