Senior Estimator
Aberdeen - Scotland
Our client a leading engineering construction contractor is now urgently seeking a Senior Estimator to head up there commercial department in Aberdeen. You will have a minimum of 10 years experience ideally working within oil & gas sector but more importantly having experience in projects involving ship construction or refurbishment projects with values from £500k - £20 million. You will have a good working knowledge of tender preparation and servicing multiple projects at anyone time, preparing sub contract, plant (Dive Systems, Lay Equipment, Crane etc) and materials (heavy steel) enquiries and review subsequent quotations. They are looking for an individual who is a pro-active self starter, ideally being degree qualified with excellent I.T. skills.
The position is offered on either a contract or permanent basis and offers a highly competitive salary / rate for the right candidate who will be expected to work from Aberdeen with occasional site visits.
