Senior Fund Accountant

On behalf of our major client we are currently looking to recruit an enthusiastic and dedicated Senior Accountant to manage a team and forge relationships with an existing client. My client is the world's leading provider of financial services to institutional investors including investment servicing, investment management and investment research and trading. With $15.1 trillion in assets under custody and $2.0 trillion in assets under management at September 30, 2007. It operates in 26 countries and more than 100 geographic markets worldwide.
This key role will see you be responsible for maintenance of HIPORT, the investment accounting in the production of client reports for the Institutional Segregated Pension Funds
More specifically duties will include
•Reconciliation of HIPORT trial balance within set deadlines.
•Production of client Investment Accounting reports (weekly, monthly and quarterly).
•Production of Tolerance Checks to custodian (monthly and quarterly).
•Validation of daily and monthly performance data both in-house & externally to WM/CAPS/FACTSET.
•Production of forecast data
•Production of Year End accounting data for all clients & liasing with Auditors to ensure that all data is available within agreed deadlines.
•Client liaison for customer queries on all accounting matters.
•Day to day monitoring of Cash Reconciliation breaks.
•Quality Control of reports to be sent to client.
•Cover for Team Leader and Supervisor.
•Assist in training of staff.

The ideal candidate for the Senior Fund Accountant position will have previous Fund Accountant experience, excellent IT skills including excel and previous client liaison experience.
