Senior HR Business Partner
Peterborough, Cambs - East Anglia
An opportunity has arisen within a global organisation working as a Senior HR Business Partner and as an integral member of the UK leadership team.
This is the autonomous UK arm of a global organisation where HR is seen as a key component of business success.
To make this work you need to have:
•Positivity, energy and ambition.
•A solid, progressive HR career history with strategic, operational and project management experience gained within fast-paced, global companies with the UK function being one arm of a larger network.
•Proven ability to partner with leadership teams, developing and delivering HR services and initiatives to support the overall direction of the company.
•Confidence, maturity, self-belief and the ability to challenge, influence and 'take people with you' are essential
•Creativity, together with emotional intelligence, sincerity, credibility and common sense.
•Clear communication skills both on a 1:1 basis and to large audiences.

This is a proactive business partnering role with focus on initiatives such as:
•Advising, influencing and guiding managers on the HR implications of business strategies and people management and leadership.
•Developing closer relationships with the business, managers and people, to encourage stronger interaction, knowledge sharing and balanced leadership
•Improving talent attraction, talent management, succession planning and retention through improved identification of need, recruitment activity, branding and process. Encouraging greater focus on personal growth and development across the UK business to result in strong internal pipelines for opportunities both in the UK and globally.
•Driving HR initiatives to support people strategy and business needs.
•Actively working with and supporting leaders in HR related topics such as employment, promotions, terminations and high level employment law
•Managing recruitment at all levels including driving feedback sessions on psychometric testing to candidates.
•Identifying learning & development needs, facilitating and delivering local training programmes/ team building activities, either alone or in conjunction with Learning & Training Manager
•Responding to business challenges efficiently, managing expectations on delivery - coaching managers to develop creative solutions to problems.
•Liaising with Corporate HR providing input and feedback on global processes
