Senior Internal Audit Manager

My client, a lead player in its global market with sales of over £5 billion and operations in over 60 countries has a new opening within its well respected Audit function for an ambitious Senior Internal Audit Manager. This role is available due to the current incumbent moving into another area of the business and typically this department is used as a hot bed of talent with this route common place.


As part of an elite team of Senior Managers and reporting to the VP, you will assume Global Head Office, regional and functional responsibilities, focusing on areas of business risk and opportunity. As well as developing long-term strategic audit plans, you will contribute to a wide range of high profile projects, from business risk management, financial review and control to business process improvements and project evaluation.


Ideally you will have at least five years senior audit experience in a major international company or accounting practice and have a strong grasp of risk management and internal control. Proven leadership ability is complemented by excellent communication, analytical and organisational skills. Fluency in one or more languages would be advantageous but not essential.
