Senior Internal Auditor

Morgan West is currently recruiting for a large FS organisation with an enviable record in recent years of growth in their specialist markets. Due to an internal promotion we are currently seeking an internal audit manager to join the busy audit function.

Reporting into the Head of Internal Audit you will lead and motivate a small team of internal auditors. The Internal Audit department has for many years been used as a fast track into the business and an ongoing commitment to promote audit professionals into other parts of the business, so candidates must be both flexible and ambitious. Your responsibilities will be to supervise the more audit team, reporting into a manager contributing to independent Audit reviews and assessments of business areas within.
This is an extremely fast moving, high profile environment. Within this company and busy department there is a defined career path and internal promotion into the business and this leads to a natural flow of staff through the department into managerial positions.

You will be a qualified accountant with a proven PQE track record.
Ideally you will have previous internal audit experience gained from within a Financial Services competitor or FTSE 500 corporation, but applications are also welcomed from candidates who have Top 10 practice experience in either internal or external audit.
