My client is an exciting leader within the International Network and Managed Services hosting industry and looking to further expand their Senior Management team following stimulating growth.

This is a highly visible role- newly created to support the evolution of my clients Network and services, you will be responsible for the planning, design and implementation of large Multi-National IP Networks, including corporate customer IP Networks and Application Product Development.

We are looking for a inspirational leader, someone with gravitas and a strong grasp of new and emerging technologies who is fired up about technology evolution.

This will be a end to end role with responsibility for concept development through to implementation and training.

To be considered you MUST have the following skills and experience; Please note we do not accept applications from individuals who do not currently reside in the UK due to the urgency of the role.

• University degree in Science or Technology-related discipline
• Recognised Network-related industry certification
• Experience in operating service provider networks with a demonstrable knowledge of the issues involved
• Comprehensive IP and routing knowledge
• Comprehensive Cisco platform and IOS knowledge
• Comprehensive Juniper platform and JUNOS knowledge
• Knowledge of Software architectures – strengths and weaknesses of IP network usage
• Comprehensive understanding of IP and related service protocols in an ISP environment
• Understanding of telco service layers, i.e. xDSL, Frame Relay, ATM, VPN, VoIP, transmission
• OSS network management architectures
• Understanding of DNS, domain name registration and zone administration
• Ability to draft, and execute policies and procedures
• UNIX
