Key Account Manager
My client, a leading provider of communication solutions to service providers, carriers and corporate customers is currently expanding operations within its Sales team based in Stuttgart Munich, Frankfurt or Hamburg Germany.
The successful candidate will be responsible for driving sales of their communications portfolio within their corporate market focusing on industries such as the financial market, their Carrier customers and Service Providers.
Experience selling communication solutions such as fiber networks, hosting solutions, datacenter connectivity and trading centres is a preferred but training will be provided on team selling, product range and the market in which they operates.
The Role
• Work as part of the Sales team you’ll be required to win new business with both new and existing customers.
• Research and cold call specific target customer groups within the enterprise corporate industry.
• Negotiate and win contracts for communications solutions within the corporate market from set accounts and self-generated accounts.
• Achieve Sales Target for Total Contract Value and Margin.
• Build successful commercial relationships at senior levels within the accounts through the management of cross-functional virtual teams.
• Position solutions to deliver business value to their customers.
• Develop and build long-term relationships with customers ensuring that the correct level of focus is applied to strategically important clients.
• Create, present and manage customer expectations along with the support of the appropriate departments.
• Working closely with Pre-Sales, ensure a complete solution is delivered to customer.
The Person
2 or more year’s sales experiences in the corporate market for a telecommunication or IT company
Credible customer references and contacts
Strong experience of “Solution Selling” and also Product Selling
Strong personality
Proven sales achievement record
English negotiation skills
