Senior Management Accountant

A public sector organisation in West Yorkshire whose activities are highly commercial, requires a Senior Management Accountant. This is a permanent opportunity offering significant leadership and project based opportunities.

The organisation is under-going a period of significant change and needs to recruit into a new structure. It also has high growth ambitions and requires people with drive and enthusiasm to make the organisation the most successful it can be.

The main purpose of the role is the redesign of management information and development of meaningful KPIs.

Successful candidate shall be able to demonstrate the following attributes:

- significant management accounting experience within a large organisation;
- demonstrable experience of managing a management accounts team of more than 4 people;
- demonstrable track record of improving financial management and performance; and the reporting arrangements in support of this;
- demonstrable experience of influencing operational and other managers towards tighter and more informed financial management; and
- demonstrable experience of managing times of structural and systematic change.

The ideal candidate shall be fully CCAB qualified (or equivalent) and shall have experience of using Hyperion to use data from a range of other systems.
