Senior Manager Group Procuremenet Energ Utilities

Assisting in development and delivery of procurement strategy and vision
Responsible for development of key supplier relationships, working with Group Procurement Director on strategy and vision;
Managing £50M of spend;
Leading procurement involvement in strategic projects; strategic relationships with key vendors;
Mentoring to junior members of the Group Procurement Team;
Work with Dir Group Procurement on setting and managing the department budget
Ability to influence, Negotiating skills, Project management skills, Effective communicator.
Considerable experience in a telecommunications environment, Multiple experience of large scale, high value (£10M+)
Experience of complex tenders
Previously worked with development of vendor engagement strategy
Experience of P&L and budgets
Develops the pan-European utility Category procurement strategy and associated policy and governance
Supports the Country Managers in implementing the Category Strategy and executing against it
Directly manages key aspects of utility procurement spend, encompassing hedging, currency considerations, forward buying, forecasting and construction of complex business supply agreements
Ensures effective engagement within the business to facilitate timely and efficient execution of plans.
Deep understanding of electricity market forces, cost trends, supplier expertise across Europe
Good awareness of green initiatives and energy efficiency measures.:
At least 5 years blue chip pan European/Global utilities procurement experience and a proven track record of delivering material value through both business change and effective supplier management
In depth knowledge of energy supply factors influencing prices, industry and key suppliers
