Senior Manager Insurance Consulting

Our client is a very high growth business, the management consulting arm of a major IT services and outsourcing/offshoring group, seeking to build on its 100% growth last year by doubling this year to over 150 consultants.

They wish to further develop an established business and technology consulting capability by adding sector expertise and as a result wish to recruit a senior Manager with depth in the life and pensions or general insurance sector, to play a lead role in this area. The role reports to the Head of Financial Services consulting.

The responsibilities in the role will include building and developing the sector including proposition development, as well as managing and delivering consulting engagements, and managing key stakeholders internally and externally.

Relevant candidates will have a recent track record in a leading consulting firm or niche player, with significant depth in the insurance sector, experience and interest in process improvement initiatives, operational strategy/business improvement experience, deep understanding of business, IT and operational issues and the ability to influence senior management.
