Senior Marketing Manager

The Role:
The Senior Marketing Manager will be responsible for defining and driving strategic marketing initiatives for Mobile products across Europe, and owning the marketing relationship with key partners in the mobile industry, specifically mobile networks and device manufactures. He/she will lead the strategy, development, and execution of new customer awareness marketing initiatives for current and future Mobile products and co-partner initiatives.

This Project mandate is to deliver a seamless, end-to-end experience for users across all their devices, mobile, and TV, with a specific emphasis on mobile. In Europe this client has a number of key partners whom they work with to deliver the objective including T-Mobile, Vodafone, Nokia and Motorola. Mobile has been identified as a critical global objective for 2008.
Key Responsibilities:
Marketing strategy & execution:
• Support Head of Marketing to deliver overall marketing business objectives.
• Define and deliver KPI for marketing Mobile products including new customer acquisition, activation and product engagement with key partners.
• Own and manage annual budget to forecasts and goals, manage all reporting against those goals.
• Work closely with Mobile Partners to write a joint marketing strategy for Mobile products.
• Define, implement, and manage execution of integrated promotions that feature strategic services driving key metrics for the business.
• Manage the marketing launch of new Mobile products in 5 European markets: UK, Italy, Germany, France and Spain.
• Define and lead educational programmes with Mobile Partners, retail outlets, and advertising agencies to evangelise new and innovative services.
• Work closely with Mobile acquisition and engagement marketing teams to brief and execute research programs.
Brand champion:
• Ensure that all co-branded marketing communicates the benefits and services offered in Mobile products.
• Oversee branding, naming, & positioning of new Mobile services when launched by each Partner.
Requirements:
• University Degree - focus on marketing or business.
• 7-10 years marketing experience.
• Proven ability to evaluate and execute ROI based marketing programs.
• Proven success at managing a large Partner; Agency or Business.
• Online B2C marketing experience.
• Must be a team player, self-motivated, and results oriented.
• Must be able to work effectively in a fast paced environment, and have demonstrated success leading marketing initiatives in a matrix organization.
• Must be numbers-driven and enjoy being focused on both strategic and operational excellence.
