About the Role
A pivotal and high profile role within the business. This role will have exposure to a multi-million pound budget, and assist with the design and then implementation of the UK marketing strategy. The role requires someone who can help the business grow and mature as a brand, while concurrently maintaining a strong commercial focus and ensuring that marketing acts as the key driver for revenue. Requiring high levels of energy and an exceptional track record from within the marketing discipline, this is an outstanding marketing opportunity for an already successful, but still-ambitious commercial marketer.
What We're Looking For
Key duties include:
Responsible for the strategic planning, budgeting and delivery of all retail marketing activity across categories to achieve annual traffic and brand objectives.
Strategy : Creating, developing and delivering the agreed marketing plan to drive consumer recruitment and traffic. Driving innovative use of communication channels to drive brand equity, engagement and business growth.
P&L Management: Responsibility for the delivery of the profit market plan across the full communications mix, ensuring delivery of the business profit margin target.
Analysis: Responsibility for interpreting analysis into channel, brand and product mixes and identification of the key levers that drive performance in the marketing area. Specifically review and recommend future communications investment mix
The ideal candidate will have:
Online travel experience (this is preferred but not critical)
Strong strategic and operational marketing skills
Experience of managing significant budgets and managing agencies
Man management experience
