Senior Operations Manager
London - South East
An excellent opportunity to join a FTSE 250 organisation with a revenue of £1.7bn and a worldwide workforce of 50,000 as a Senior Operations Manager.
The overall role purpose for the Senior Operations Manager is for the operational delivery of the service requirements defined by the contract within the commercial model and agreed budgets throughout UK and NW Europe. The Senior Operations Manager will also implement and review operational procedures to deliver the short, medium and long term plans for the contract against agreed milestones.
The key responsibilities for the Senior Operations Manager include:
- Management of planned maintenance delivery and life-cycle programme
- Management of reactive maintenance delivery and incidental works
- Ensure best value management techniques within contract
- Development of contract delivery strategy, providing demonstrable operational benefits.
- Development of relations and collaboration with client representatives to ensure delivery of contract
- Liaise with the core works team to ensure integration of core works and services.
- Responsibility for management of the contract team, including recruitment, selection, training/development of staff and succession planning.
- Management of supply chain partners.
- Lead member of the continuous improvement team
- Ensure application of continuous improvement techniques within the area.
- Provide audit role to ensure adherence to processes
- Responsible for ensuring compliance with policies on health & safety, quality assurance & environment.
- Responsible for contract resources and budget management using open-book approach.
- Drive out efficiencies and generate savings and best value solutions
- Responsible for area performance during mobilisation, steady state and demobilisation contract stages
- Responsible for performance reporting against contractual performance indicators and awareness of recovery system
