Senior Pre-Sales Solutions Engineer
Slough - Thames Valley
Solutions Engineer (Sales Engineer) with excellent technical, sales, and communication skills to manage the various technical presales activities for the web performance monitoring platform for our client.
• Previous experience as a Presales Engineer supporting enterprise software
• Bachelor's degree in Computer Science or related field
• Proven track record of solution selling to enterprise organizations
• HTML, XML, JavaScript coding and scripting programming experience (desirable)
• Strong knowledge of web application infrastructure and related technologies
• Knowledge of and hands-on experience using a sales force automation tool such as SalesForce.com
• Ability to work both independently and as a team player
• Ability to multi-task and support a high-volume sales team
• Strong written and verbal communication skills
• Strong technical and problem solving skills
• Ability to travel, when required
• Ability to maintain accurate documentation and tasks for each step in the technical solutions sale
• Ability to interface with engineering and client services teams
• Previous exposure to Application/Internet Performance or Web Analytic exposure is a plus
