Senior/Principal CIS Consultant - Defence Systems

EXTENSIVE AND WIDE RANGE OF MILITARY COMMUNICATIONS EXPERIENCE IS ESSENTIAL!
A prestigious client is seeking a Senior or Principal CIS Consultant to lead and work on a range of defence projects involving military communications and information systems (CIS), particularly in the areas of: requirements, analysis, design, architecture, interoperability, planning, through life management and security. The role will involve liaison with clients to define requirements and assumptions and provide advice on CIS issues.
Personal Characteristics
•To be degree qualified in an Engineering/Mathematical or Scientific Discipline or have equivalent engineering experience.
Knowledge and experience of the following is expected:
•Previous consultancy experience associated with military communications and information systems (this may include a relevant MSc, PhD and/or work experience).
•Knowledge of a range of such systems and technologies.
•Ability to liaise effectively with clients to define and clarify requirements, assess relevant data/information and provide consultancy advice as appropriate
•Ability to lead technical teams and delegate work appropriately to team members
•Excellent written and oral communication skills
•Excellent presentation and report-writing skills
•Flexible approach to work, able to work alone or as part of a team
•Desirable Requirements for the role
•System architecture definition, system management, service delivery
