Senior Project Management Manager
City of London - London
A Global Investment Bank seeks a senior level IT leader / infrastructure manager with solid technical, managerial and investment banking experience to play a leading part in global projects of this highly successful investment bank.
You will be responsible for fully managing a team of infrastructure project managers; managing bank-wide IT infrastructure and service delivery projects, data centre and building fit-outs / relocations / new office establishment; dealing room, data centre and other projects including core technology upgrades.
The successful candidate will have:
- strong project management skills covering full cycle of responsibilities, from concept to plan to execution;
- experience developing and managing high-level budgets, from proposal to delivery;
- broad and deep understanding of IT industry, with more particular experience in networking, server hardware management (Windows and Unix), storage (NAS/SAN), Market Data, Databases;
- extensive investment banking experience (required);
- proven experience in project delivery;
- previous experience of managing team of project managers;
- experience delivering projects in matrix environment involving virtual / remote teams and other countries;
- experience negotiating with vendors and other 3rd parties;
- communication skills at all levels and across business units;
- ability to develop PM techniques / methods of a team;
- university degree or equivalent, ITIL, PMI or Prince 2 certifications.
